The day was awesome! Olga, our tour guide and driver, was so nice and very informative and super accommodating. We saw everything we wanted to see - the town of kona, the southern most point, the lava tube and steam vents and crater. The 10 hours flew by and the car was very comfortable. We highly recommend this tour. All our needs have been taken care of. What we we liked the most about this tour was that our two favorites, the Kilauea volcano and Mauna Kea, were both included in this tour. It was an incredibly beautiful day, we will never forget these special moments. All in all, everything was great with Olga (our Tourguide), the communication, the atmosphere, the safe car rides, the information about the island and the highlights. Rebecca was a fun tour guide! We had to cut our day short (due to our own short-sighted planning) and that restricted what I had hoped to see, as I really did not recognize how large the island is and how much travel time to include. I was grateful to Rebecca for counsel she provided prior to our tour so that we could complete some activities in advance, to avoid missing anything really important to us. Rebecca is such a wonderful human and a fabulous tour guide! She took my family and I around the Big Island on a day with not so great weather but it was still incredible! No one has to worry about driving, every one was happy. Her car is clean and has plenty of space. No worries if you track in dirt as she takes you around. We saw all the things on our list that we told her we’re important. She played us podcasts about the island and told us personal stories. She had a pleasant attitude even when under stress because of the weather and other elements. She was helpful before we even got to the island, giving us recommendations where to shop and eat when we arrived. Can’t say enough good things about her! Thanks Rebecca!!? Rebecca was absolutely amazing! her communication style was perfect to fit my needs and know that i was good to be picked up on time. She told us the history while we took the 2 hour ride to the south of the island (Bring stuff for kids to play with as this part may bore them), but for adults it was great. We went to a local farm and had their amazing food and coffee, 4 wheel drive pick up truck/hike to the green sands beach (gorgeous), then to the southern most point bakery (yum), to the black sand beach to see sea turtles, and then to the tallest mountain in the world for a beautiful sunset. What a great day! Our private tour of the Big Island with Olga was an experience we’ll never forget! From start to finish, she made the day feel personal, seamless, and full of wonder. We explored what felt like the entire island—stopping at the southernmost point of the U.S. to watch cliff divers, strolling along the stunning black sand beach, walking through ancient lava tubes, and peering into the dramatic volcano crater. Olga was the perfect guide—so knowledgeable, warm, and fun. As we cruised comfortably in her car, she shared fascinating island legends, local history, and personal stories that made each stop come alive. She seemed to know all the hidden gems, too—we tasted rich, local coffee at a charming farm, sampled local chocolates, and made delicious stops at a pie shop and a pastry shop (both drool-worthy!). It was the perfect blend of sightseeing, culture, storytelling, and food fun. If you’re visiting the Big Island, a tour with Olga is an absolute must. She truly made us fall in love with Hawaii! The whole day trip was full of amazing views, but our favorite was the 3-mile drive in the back of a pickup to a green sand beach. One of only four green sand beaches in the world. Rebecca was an outstanding Guide! She asked us what we wanted to do since it was a private tour. She drove safely and filled us with Hawaiian Lore and myths, while getting us to our destination of the waterfalls and volcanoes with lunch in between. We needed to make a change in our scheduling and Rebecca, our tour guide, was very accommodating. She is very knowledgeable about the island and took us to many great sights. We were doing the NCL Pride of America cruise and she picked us up and brought us back near the port. It was a wonderful way to spend the day in Hawaii! We had the most amazing day with our tour guide, Rebecca Ray. She took the time to call me after I booked to talk all about what we might want to do so she could start planning, then the day before to make a plan to meet. She had all kinds of stops planned for our day. We had wine, chocolate, and coffee tasting, organic farm visit, volcano sight seeing, black sand beach with sea turtles and so much more!! Rebecca is so much fun!! We felt like we were spending the day with an old friend!! We will definitely call her next time we come to the big island!
